Obituary

Iris Kay Carter, 81, of Supply passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her home.

Kay was born March 16, 1940 in Supply to the late Adam and Jettie Perrin. She graduated from Maynard High School in 1957, worked as a bank teller, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Perrin and Phillip Perrin.

Kay is survived by her husband, Charles H. Carter; son, Dennis (Reba) Carter of Supply; daughter, Marsha (Billy) Tunstall of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Brooklynne (Rockey) Rapert of Harrisburg, Christopher Carter of Maynard, and Dylan (Emily) Carter of Lake City; great-grandchildren, Jilliynne Rapert, Remington Rapert, Gwendolynne Rapert, Clara Carter, Brayleigh Carter, Elizabeth Carter, and Camden Oglesby, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Charles Carrens and Mike Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Pitman Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are Dennis Carter, Chris Carter, Dylan Carter, Rockey Rapert, Billy Tunstall, and Mark McConnaughay.

Honorary Pallbearers are Albert Ray, Rick Ray, Ronnie Ray, Mike Ray, Ken Carter, Robert Carter, Jeff McConnaughay, and Russell French.
