Irene Marie Johnston Lindsey 106, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Randolph Homes. She was born October 1, 1916, to the late Redden and Sally Johnston. She was married to Willie Lindsey for 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Redden and Sally Johnston; husband, Willie Lindsey; brothers, Buster Johnston and Thomas Johnston; sisters, Ruth Graham, Vela Deimathos, Ferrell Deimathos, Thelma Purdy and Vern Hand.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Lindsey of Pocahontas, Richard Lindsey of Pocahontas, Charles Lindsey of Ashdown and Donna Lindsey Higgins of Cabot; thirteen grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with the service to begin at 3:00 p.m. A burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
