Pocahontas- Iolus Leona "Bot" Johnson, 101, passed away on January 2, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center.

Iolus was born July 23, 1915 in Ingram, AR to the late Sular Morris and Hattie Mae Rush Spikes. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Relief Society. She was a wonderful seamstress and cook. Relatives and friends were always welcomed in her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duke Elijah Johnson; 3 sisters, Myrtle Spikes Harris, Ival Spikes, Clara Spikes; and 4 brothers, Orvel, Almus, John and Lloyd Spikes.

She is survived by daughter, Betty Jean Johnson of Pocahontas; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Both services at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Funeral service is Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11 am with Cleo Waddell Jr. officiating. Burial in Spikes Cemetery.
