Baby Jocelen, 3 ½ months, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Portia. She was born May 13, 2013 in Jonesboro to Joshua Andrew Chappell and August Unique Chappell. She was so precious and had such a beautiful smile. Even at this early age, she had three teeth coming in and actually trying to talk. She loved watching her sisters Kamille and Willow play. When her sisters would come home from school, the first thing they would do was kiss baby Jocelen on her checks. And oh how she would smile. Her parents gave her lots of love and attention. She loved being outdoors and also loved when her grammy talked to her. Oh what a smile she had. When she left us she knew she was loved. She is now in heaven and is our angel watching over us. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Eddie Robinson and her great grandmother VeEtta Sproling, both of Harrisburg. Survivors are her parents Joshua and August Chappell, siblings, Kamille Sproling and Willow Williams of the home, and Jalen and Alex Chappell of Jonesboro, grandparents are Brenda Robinson-Maggitt and husband Darrell and James Sproling of Harrisburg and Judy McCain of Walnut Ridge, great grandparents, Mary Alice Robinson of Harrisburg and Lula Taylor of Walnut Ridge, uncles Linte Sproling of Atlanta, GA and Quinte` Sproling and his wife Jen of Jonesboro, James Tate of Jonesboro and aunts, Jamela Tate and Makayla Sproling of Jonesboro, April Wade of Walnut Ridge and Heather Meeks of Imboden and a host of great uncles, aunts and cousins. Arrangements are under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
