Obituary

Pocahontas- Imogene Celia Vail, 94, passed away August 25, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center.

Imogene was born May 2, 1923 in Truman, AR to Gilbert and Viola Chambliss Tate. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocahontas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ernest Vail; brother, Gilbert Tate, Jr.; sister, Lorene Gray; and granddaughter, Susan McClure.

She is survived by her children, Joan McClure-Peak of Pottsville, Mary (Carl) Lamb of Reyno, Patti (Kenny) Hedge of Jonesboro, Debbie Sheets of D'Iberville, MS; grandchildren, Jody Hedge of Colt, Charles (Michelle) McClure of Pottsville, Lance (Susie) Lamb of Sherwood, Jennifer (David) Weathers of Columbia, MO, Lori (Todd) Cullen of Jonesboro, Rachel Glissen of Rodgers, Sarah Duke of D'Iberville, MS; 7 "great grandies" and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2-4 pm at McNabb Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10 am at the First Baptist Church with Roger Hovis and Gary Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Family will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
