Weiner- Ileta Faye Davis, 81, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.

She was born October 19, 1935 in Weiner to the late John and Iva Brown Cox. She retired from Engine Inc. in Weiner where she was the bookkeeper. Mrs. Davis loved children and will be remembered as a loving wife and aunt. She was a devoted Christian and was active in her church and loved going on mission trips. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Davis; two nieces, Tammy Pate (Dennis) of Jonesboro and Vickie Ward (Richard) of Mt. Home; a nephew, Danny Cox of Bay; friends, Leona Gardner, Peggy Booth, Leon and Wilma Aston; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Weiner Christian Church with Rick Green officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until time of service Thursday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Branyan, Chad Branyan, Cody Branyan, Dennis Pate, Danny Cox and Travis Birdsong and as honorary pallbearers, Tricie Walker, Mary Mullin, Judy and Bill Nichols, Allen Soden, Arthur Booth, Myra Schwartz, Gene Winters and Carl Webb.
