Obituary
Harrisburg- Ila Mae Harris McDermott, 89, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born November 25, 1928 in Parkin to the late Robert and Cora Francis Rider Harris.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mike and Darla McDermott of Weiner, Johnny and Sandra McDermott of Harrisburg, Pat and Martin Thompson of Tucson, Arizona and Larry McDermott and Anita Saulmon of Rutherfordton, North Carolina; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Edward McDermott Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2018 at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
Service will be private.
