Ila Ernestine Guntharp, 94, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Randolph Home.

She was born August 21, 1927 in Supply to the later Sherman an Esta Parish Fowler.  She was the Randolph County School Supervisor and a member of Pocahontas First Freewill Baptist Church where she served as pianist and organist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Esta Parish Fowler; her husband, Warren Guntharp; and her brother, Nehman Duff.

Ila is survived by her daughter, Sara Nabholz and husband Doug Hack of St. Charles, MO; grandsons, Michael V. Nabholz Jr of St. Charles, MO, Christopher (Rhonda) Nabholz of Jacksonville, NC, and Andrew Nabholz of Cape Girardeau, MO; great grandson, Jackson Nabholz of Jacksonville, NC; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Nelson Henderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Les McPherson, Charles Seagraves, Danny Rodgers, Tony Shepherd, Ronnie Radcliff, and Gary Buxton.
