Obituary
Howard Jasper Matthews Jr, 72, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was born January 8, 1947 in Ravenden to the late Howard Sr \u0026 Pauline Kuhn Matthews. He was a tire salesman for Goodyear and an Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cynthia Rhea Matthews.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Matthews of Ravenden and Jason (Chi) Matthews of Bartlett, TN; three grandchildren, Charity, Jonah, and Micah Matthews; five siblings, Bobby Matthews of Ravenden Springs, Phyllis Roark of Ravenden, Patricia Goodsell of Ravenden Springs, Jackie Matthews of Ravenden Springs, and Scottie Matthews of Ravenden; and his loving devoted girlfriend, Pat Hall.
A memorial service for Howard Matthews Jr will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2 PM at the old Ravenden Springs School.
