Hittai Idie Silk, 69, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026 at St. Bernard’s Five Rivers Medical Center.

He was born September 13, 1956 in Ebon, Marshall Islands to Jebenu Silk and Kenye Salik Silk. He was a clergyman serving as a Captain in The Salvation Army.

Hittai is survived by his wife, Maryrose Moses-Silk; his children, Juliana Silk Maludrik and husband David Mauldrik, Trudi Silk-Rujke and husband Mack Rujke, and Tavnis McCore Silk and wife Lisa Silk; grandchildren, Tasmar, Solomon, Juda, Simpson, David jr, Naomi, Jeremiah, Azariah Maludrik, Moses Leviticus, Mikel Leviticus, Keith Rujke, Julius Rujke, Jebyo Rujke, Neibol Rujke, Maryrose Rujke, Kenye Silk, Spancer Silk, Rosemary Silk, McCore Silk, Yanis Silk; Great-grandchild: Saint Azrael

Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Pocahontas Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Committal service will be Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 3 PM at Randolph Memorial Gardens under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
