Herbert Lee Throesch 91, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday April 17, 2022.
He was born November 28, 1930, in Running Lake near Pocahontas to the late Raymond and Gladys Yancy Throesch. He retired from General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan. He moved to Arkansas in 1980 and was a parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Chris "CJ", Sylvester, Aloysius "Bud" Throesch; sisters Helen Childers, Louise Spurgeon, Geraldine Almond and Carolyn Kosheba; daughter-in-law, Donna Throesch.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Patty Johnson Throesch; sons Michael of Pocahontas, Steven of Pocahontas, and Jeffrey (Diane) of Florida, Paul (Mary) of Michigan, Philip (Kelly) of Pocahontas, and Joseph of Pocahontas; grandchildren Michael Throesch, Angela (David) Gann, Cynthia Gillis, Hayden Throesch, Mathew (Kelli) Bice, Noah Throesch, David Throesch, Matthew Throesch, Patrick Throesch, Paul Throesch II, Mary (Shaune) Cole, Adam (Courtney) Throesch, Natasha (Derek) Lee, Nikki Throesch, Tyranny Throesch, Joseph Throesch, and Nathan Throesch; 27 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister Patsy (Gene) Dunn; sister in law Christalee Throesch of MI and many nieces and nephews relatives and friends.
All services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM with a Rosary being said at 11 AM. Mass will immediately follow. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. All services are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Adam, Joseph, David, Hayden, Michael, Nathan, and Matthew Throesch, and Kyle Gillis.
