Herbert Lee Kemper, 74, of Reyno passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Sherwood.

He was born March 23, 1947 to the late George Lawrence and Era Mae Crews Kemper. He was a truck driver and a member of Old Reyno Freewill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Era Kemper; sisters, Blanche Russell, Delia Smith, Margaline Wood, Nadine Kemper, and Maggie Parrish; and brothers, Walter Kemper and Charles Kemper.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Wilma Edington Kemper of the home; three daughters, Amber (Tracy) Chesser of Maynard, Robin Bower of Jonesboro, and LeeAnn Woods of Reyno; two son, Lindsay Ringo of Reyno, and Chandler Ringo of Reyno; grandchildren, Tyler (Rachel) Ringo, Tanner Ringo, Marcus (Emily) Woods, and Laney Bower; great grandchildren, Chase Woods, Ryder Woods, and Fraley Ringo; sisters, Mary Duplechin of Louisiana, and Loel Collier of Jonesboro; brother, Wayne Kemper of Imboden; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 5-8 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Old Reyno Freewill Baptist Church at 2 PM with Jed Daniels and Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow in Nelson Cemetery.
