Helen June Weatherford, 82, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Randolph Home.

She was born June 10, 1939 in Puxico, MO to the late Edward Burlison and Sally Maude Evelyn Medling Burlison Cline.  She worked for 20 years as the head chef for Bruce Elementary School in St. Louis, MO and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she served in benevolence, hospitality, and as a Sunday school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Ezra Cline; daughter, Vickie Houston; and son, Mickie Weatherford, brother Vernon Cline and sister Kathern Cline Lincoln.

Helen is survived by her husband, Vernon Lavelle Weatherford; daughters, Deborah (Jimmy) Williams of Webster Groves, MO and Cindie Caroline Weatherford of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Michael Weatherford of St. Louis, MO, Sarah (Christopher) Landers of St. Louis, MO, Rachel (Kevin) Peters of Cape Girardeau, MO, Tim (Sarah) Houston of Kentucky, Brian Houston of Tennessee, and Angel Houston of Hillsboro, MO; six great grandchildren, daughter in law, Pamela Weatherford of St. Louis, MO, and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5-7 PM.  Funeral service will be Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11 AM with Jeremy Bundren officiating.  Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery.
