Obituary

Walnut Ridge- Helen Louise Reynolds, 78, passed away October 22, 2015 at the Lawrence Hall Nursing Home. Helen was born January 20, 1937 in Little Rock to the late Tom and Ethel Haynie. Helen is survived by her Daughter Tammy Reed of Pocahontas, grandson Stephen Reed of Florida and sister Wanda Arbuckle of Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband William Reynolds, daughter Helen Ann Ward, a son who died at birth and her parents. Helen was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Pocahontas, she loved her church family dearly. She was a volunteer (Pink Coat) for many years at Five River's Medical Center. She would visit her mother Ethel daily in the nursing home. Helen really enjoyed helping others and as a way of showing that she spent numerous hours volunteering at Five Rivers Hospital. She also rode with her boyfriend Lavern on his motorcycle to roller skating competitions in Illinois as a young adult. Later on she was in the Rodeo Circuit where she would do trick riding and barrel racing. Visitation will be held October 29, 2015 at the First Free Will Baptist at 6:30- 7:15p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 7:15 with Nelson Henderson officiating. In lieu of flowers lasting memorial may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church
