Obituary

Jonesboro- Helen Mae Dehm Harrelson, 89, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home.

She was born October 15, 1928 in Weiner to the late George and Cora Bourland Dehm. She retired from Colson Caster Corporation, where she worked in the shipping department. Mrs. Harrelson volunteered at the NEA Food Bank for over twenty years. She was an active member of Strawfloor Baptist Church, she was a Sunday school teacher, head of missions and was in the choir for many years. She and her husband, Bill loved traveling the United States in their RV. She will be remembered as a loving and Godly grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by two grandsons and their wives, Allen and Polly Dehm and Barrett and Andrea Harrelson all of Jonesboro; two sisters, Virginia Imhauser and Margaret Chapel both of Crystal Lake, Illinois; nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Harrelson; a son, Eugene Harrelson; three brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Nettleton Cemetery with Pastor Barrett Harrelson officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation.
