Jonesboro- Helen Flemon, 93, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Jonesboro Health and Rehab.

She was born July 16, 1924 in Jonesboro to the late Coleman and Nell Greif Cosby. Mrs. Helen worked for the State of Arkansas. She was a lifelong devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Fred and Gail Flemon of Jonesboro; three grandsons and their wives, Scott and Michele Allen of Paragould, Adam and Mandi Edmonds of Floral and Allen and Amber Flemon of Paragould; six great-grandchildren, Lexi, Abby, Connor, Ally, Kate and Brennan.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ferrel Flemon; a daughter, Nancy Casey; a grandson, Brian Allen and two sisters, Anna Stemac and Jane Benthall.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Catholic Newman Center at 2800 E. Johnson Ave in Jonesboro with Fathers Alphonse Gollapalli and Chandra Kodavatikanti officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The rosary will be from 5:30 until 6:00 pm with visitation from 6:00 until 7:30 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Lasting memorials may be sent to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or the Blessed Sacrament Building Fund.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Paul Stemac, Dalton Hester, Bill Gott, Bobby Pureyear, Jimmy Casey and Dustin Turpin and as honorary pallbearers are Johnny Ward, Amy Clancy, Bill Langston, Richard W. Jernigan, Mickey Bridger, Allen Fike, Greg Stemac and Sean Tolbert.
