Mrs. Hazelle Juanita Dixon, of Weiner, departed this life Saturday, January 9, 2016, in Jonesboro, at the age of 76. She was born in Weiner, the daughter of the late Truman Walker and the late Feekla Bame Walker. Hazelle retired from J.C. Penney and was a member of The Church Of God in Weiner. She was very active in her church, where she served as a former Sunday School Teacher, Children's Church Director and worked at the Church Camp. She was a former Secretary of Friends of the Library and loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl Dixon of Weiner, two daughters, Carol Little and husband Keith and Valerie Riley and husband Jerry, one son, Darrell Dixon and wife Lisa, all of Weiner, two sisters, Wanda Wagner and husband Bill and Maudine Webb, all of Trumann, 9 grandchildren, Brooke McClure and husband Jackie, Kristi Wilcox and husband Heath, Eric Little, Jeremy Riley, Aaron Riley and wife Shannon, Ariel Dixon, Jordan McClure, Kelsey Jones, Casey Jones and wife Lakyn and 6 great grandchildren, Anna Wilcox, Christian Wilcox, Kal Wilcox, Emerson Wilcox, Carlee little and Jordan McClure. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg Rev. Gary Barker and rev. Jesse Dollars officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery at Weiner. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Riley, Aaron Riley, Eric Little, Heath Wilcox, Jackie McClure and Casey Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Brooke McClure, Kristi Wilcox, Ariel Dixon, Kelsey Jones and Shannon Riley. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider Weiner Friends of the Library.
