Mrs. Hazel Adel Ross of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 84. She was born April 16, 1932 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Clay Bratton and Charity Lee Frazier Bratton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holly Springs Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Harrisburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Billy Ray Bratton, four brothers, Dick, Bill, DA, and Tommy Bratton, and four sisters, Emily Scrape, Julie Harper, Dorothy Woods and Betty Buckner. She is survived by one son, Floyd Moore Ross, Jr. of Payneway, two daughters, Linda K. Ross of Jonesboro and Brenda K. Wood of Harrisburg, one brother, Clay "Bud" Bratton, Jr. of Marked Tree, three sisters, Ellen Morelock, Nancy Wilson and Ruby Ward, all of Trumann, 11 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Interment will follow in Bolivar Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
