Trumann- Hazel Moon, 93, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

She was born February 19, 1929 in Monette to the late Roger and Julie Ann Osburn Furnish. Mrs. Moon had worked at Singer Plant, farming and as a cook at Trumann Nursing Home. She had worked hard her whole life. She was a great loving person who loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting with her sister.

She was survived by her children, Danny Moon (Jackie) of Lake City, Elaine Snider (Harold) of Trumann and Sharon Richey (Ronnie) of Bay; a brother, Garry Furnish; grandchildren, Michelle Vancil (Danny) of Colorado, Scotty Moon (Sharee) of Lake City, Adam Moon of Bay Minette, AL, Larry Allred (Pam) of Black Oak, Jeff Reese of Bay, Jonathan Reese of Jonesboro and Jessica Davis (Eric) of Bay; eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Moon.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Larry Allred, Scotty Moon, Jeff Reese, Jon Reese, Ethan Reese and Adam Moon and as honorary pallbearer, Harold Snider.
