Hazel Lucille Martin, 94, of Pocahontas passed away September 23, 2022 at St. Bernard Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Hazel was born December 2, 1927 in Shell Knob, MO. to the late James "Jim" Jennings and Mary Francis Manning Jennings. She was one of the first switchboard operators in Randolph County. She also worked at Pocahontas Federal Savings and Loan and was a member of WestRidge Church of Christ.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Jennings; husband Robert Harold Martin; siblings Clarence Jennings, Flora Jennings, Marion Jennings, Everett Jennings, Dorothy Jennings and George Jennings.

Hazel is survived by her sister Edith Irene Ayers; nieces Donna (Ralph) Parker, Rhonda Kendrick, Vera Schofield, Carolyn Osofsky, and Buddy Cooper; nephew Victor (Vonda) Martin; many great nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday September 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Randolph Memorial Gardens with Joshua Dement officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
