Pocahontas - Hazel Jane Earley, 88, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her place of residence. Born June 25, 1921 in Pocahontas to the late Henry and Ollie (Vandergriff) Tweedy. She is preceded in death by husband, Jewel Earley. Son, Harold Earley. Daughter, Peggy Sue Earley. Granddaughter, Candice Seagraves. 2 brothers, Paul and Harold Tweedy. Sister, Helen Pratt. She is survived by two sons, Jim and wife Teresa Earley of Pocahontas and Ron Earley of Pocahontas. Daughter, Terrie and husband, Charles Seagraves of Pocahontas. Daughter-in-law, Doris Sharp of Stokes. 8 grandchildren; Blake Earley of Pocahontas, Brent Earley of Searcy, Jeremy and Jay Earley of Jonesboro, Josh Earley of Paragould, Shawn Seagraves, Jenni Smith and Cassie Mitchell all of Pocahontas. 3 step grandchildren; Amanda Snyder of Pocahontas, Matt Cox of Viola, and Lindsey Wilson of Searcy. 13 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. Brother, Carl Tweedy and sister, Julane Melton both of Pocahontas. Memorials may be made to Antioch Cemetery Fund. Services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will follow to Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-7. Pallbearers include: Blake, Grant, Jeremy, Josh, and Jay Earley and Shawn Seagraves. Honorary Pallbearers: Jonathan Mitchell, Allan Smith, Luke Snyder, and Matt Cox.
