Obituary
Jonesboro- Harry L. Poole Sr., 83, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at St. Bernard Medical Center.
He was born November 10, 1933 in Texarkana to the late Wesley Elmer and Louise Chandler Poole. Mr. Poole was vice-president and general manager of Tobacco Sales Inc. / Douglas Inc. and also worked as a sales associate for fifteen years at Wal-Mart. He loved to hunt, fish and travel. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Emma Poole; two daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Jimmy Wade of Jonesboro and Patricia and Jim Ferguson of Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, Kandice Brooke Wade of Jonesboro; Dustin Poole of Monette, Joshua Poole of McDougal, Vikki Kay Bennett of Oklahoma, Victoria Staggs of Jacksonville, FL, John Poole of Lonoke, Sebastian Staggs and Dalton Poole both of Jonesboro, Alice Poole, Emily Poole and Adam Poole all of Little Rock; seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Cora Morrison; two sons, Greg Poole and Harry Poole Jr.
A visitation to celebrate his life will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
The service will be private.
