Pocahontas - Harold Young, 80, left this world on April 21, 2009. He was born on October 03, 1928 in Delaplaine, AR. He was the son of the late Arther and Flora Rice Young. Harold held many jobs; a farmer, logger and retired from Magee after 17 years of service. He had a strong faith in Jesus. He is preceded in death by brother, A.J. Young and one infant sister, Beverly Young. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Young of the home. Three sons; James Young of Kansas, Darrell Young and Ronnie Young of Walnut Ridge, daughter, Glenda Carrithers Young of Pocahontas, two step children, Terry Kincade and Molly Venson and a stepmother Ula Belle Young. Seven brothers; Charles, Calvin, Jerry, Ford, Feran, Melton and Noland Young. Three sisters; Eva Gentry, Janise Schulist, and Sharon Brown. 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Three uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2009 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Randolph Memorial Gardens with Buddy Tribble \u0026 Carl McKinney officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Thursday also in the Chapel.
