Jonesboro- Hal Haron Savage II, 61, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born June 21, 1958 in Bristow, OK to the late Hal Haron Savage I and Minta Jean Rigney Savage. Hal worked as an X-Ray Tech for St Bernards Medical Center for over thirty-one years. He enjoyed watching TV, the Oklahoma Sooners and loved his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Savage; his mother, Minta Savage of Tulsa, OK; two daughters, Stephanie Crawford (Chad) of Paragould and Lauren Darty (Tyler) of Bono; two sisters-in-law, Georgia Tackett (Dave) of Jonesboro and Mary Elmore (Patti Kirk) of Atlanta, GA; his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Nash of Atlanta; a brother, Keith Savage (Gini) of Genoa, NV; a sister, Becky Savage of Depew, OK; two grandchildren, Violet Simons and Andrew Crawford; his furry companion, Maggie and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. John Miles II officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church Atrium.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chad Crawford, Tyler Darty, Dave Tackett, Brian Tackett and Josh Tackett and honorary pallbearers, Dr. Darrell Ragland, Dr. Mark Sifford, Dr. Max Arroyo, Dr. Devi Nair, Dr. Mazen Khalil, Dr. Mike Smith, Dr. Robert Green, Dr. Kenneth Tidwell and Staff of Department of Radiology.
