Jonesboro- Gwendolyn Margaret Trotter, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Flo Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born August 21, 1924 in Leachville to the late Charley and Violet Nanney. Mrs. Trotter was a homemaker and a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Charles Trotter of Jonesboro, Teddy Trotter (Martha) of Bay, Linda Richardson of Paragould, Terry Trotter (Lisa) of Cherokee Village and Brenda Woods of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ruth Perryman of Tipton, California and Fayon Finley of Jonesboro; thirteen grandchildren, Allen Trotter (Carol) of Jonesboro, Amy Seymour (Reynolds), Michael Trotter (Mandy), Steven Trotter (Linda) and Joseph Trotter all of Bay, Tony Trotter, Phillip Trotter (Ciara), Tara Joplin (Matt), Morgan James and Glenda Boren Watson all of Jonesboro, Adam Warren, Joshua Warren (Jennifer) of Jacksonville and Laura Prior of Jonesboro; sixteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ray Trotter; a son, Darrell Trotter; a grandson, Jeffrey Trotter; two brothers and three sisters. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Friday, June 6, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel, 300 W. Matthews Ave with Dr. John Miles officiating. Burial to follow at Manning Cemetery near Sedgwick. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ron Boling, Tony Trotter, Phillip Trotter, Allen Trotter, Joshua Warren, Michael Trotter, Matt Joplin and Adam Warren.
