Ravenden Springs, AR. - Gwendolyn Reed Hepler, 76, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at Pocahontas Nursing \u0026 Rehab. Born October 14, 1933 in Portia, AR to the late Flynn Reed and Josephine (Hogan) Reed. She is preceded in death by husband Paul Vernon Hepler and grandmother Georgia Reed, who raised Gwendolyn. And an infant daughter Gwenda Paulette Hepler. Gwendolyn was an LPN for 30 years. She was also a member of the Church of Christ in Ravenden Springs. And she was an eastern star and a poet. She is survived by son Thomas Vernon and wife Gail Hepler of Olive Branch, MS. Two daughters; Kathy and husband Earl Goodsell of Ravenden Springs and Carrol and husband Wally Cozart of Memphis, TN. Two grandchildren; Leigh and husband Ronnie Ammons of Lakeland, TN and Jeff Hepler of Forrest City, AR. Two great grandchildren; Avery and Addison Ammons. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Ravenden Springs with Jim Inness officiating. Burial will follow in Janes Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11-12 p.m. prior to service also at the church.
