Gwelda Duella Cope, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 03, 2025, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Duella was born in Pleasant Ridge Township in Fulton County Arkansas, on January 04,1934 to the late Claude and Gladys Cooper Coggin. Duella was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, painting, antiquing, and working at the church. She was a great lady, a good neighbor, and friend.

Duella is survived by her daughters; Pamela Dumas and Patt Cope

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years J.D. Cope and son Jeff Cope.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025, at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2 p.m.
