Obituary

Golden N. DuBois, known by all as "Bud", left this world Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas with his loving wife at his side.

Bud was born in Dalton, Arkansas to Clarence Elmer Dubois and Viola King in 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Bud was a wonderful, loving, and compassionate man who deeply loved his family and friends. Bud retired after a 35-year career from GTE. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Communications Workers of America, active in the Pocahontas little league and a member of the Episcopal church.

Bud's love for the outdoors included fishing, hunting, and outings with his children and grandchildren.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ella (Spikes) DuBois of 62 ½ years, three sons, Scott DuBois (Theresa Clinton) of Texarkana, Texas, Steve (Angela) DuBois of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Shaun DuBois of Rogers, Arkansas. Five grandchildren, Katie (Zack) McDonald, O'shay (Louie) Lancaster, Justin (Baylee) Bolinger, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ben DuBois and Megan Humble of Carbondale, Colorado, Josie DuBois of Kansas City, Missouri. Three great grandchildren, Banks Wilder Lancaster, McKinlee Gray Bolinger, \u0026 Carter Paul Bolinger of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Two sisters, Helen Engels, Janet (Warren) Rieman of St. Louis, MO., one brother, James DuBois of Jonesboro, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews and friends.

All services will be at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Friday, January 17, 2020. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1pm with Ronnie Rose officiating and eulogy by Shaun DuBois. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
