Gloria Fay Motes, of Quitman, departed this life Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Conway Regional Hospital at the age of 59.

She was born January 26, 1961 in Trumann, the daughter of the late Rev. Hershel Motes and Glendora Cline Motes. Gloria spent all of her life in the care of her parents and in 2009 moved in with her sister Delores Ellington. She was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Motes.

She is survived by her sister, Delores Ellington (Roger) of Quitman, and two brothers, George Motes of Tyronza and Gary Motes (Gina) of Payneway.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., at Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg with Brother Allen Brown officiating. There will be no visitation prior to service. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
