Mrs. Glennon Aalderink of Harrisburg, departed this life Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Flo Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 89. She was born November 5, 1924 in Kennett, Missouri, the daughter of the late Burl Gatewood and Gracie Rhinehart Gatewood. She was a member of the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She enjoyed dancing, word search puzzles, and squirrel watching. She also loved her flowers. She enjoyed spending time with the senior citizens, church, and getting together for meals with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Glennon Sue Stephens Smith, a brother, J. B. Gatewood, a grandchild, Cindy Lee Smart and a great grandchild, Krystal Hughes. She is survived by one son, Eddie Vernon Flannigan of Sedgwick, two daughters, Glenda Fay Flannigan Smart of Harrisburg and Tereesa Ellen Stephens Long of Whitehall, seven grandchildren, Tammy Smart of Memphis, TN, Vickie Flannigan DeWater of Wyoming, Michigan, Debbie Flannigan Peterman of Zumbrota, Minnesota, Rick Jensen and Robert Jensen of Jonesboro, Rebecca Correa of Whitehall, and Tommy Bragan of Mesa, Arizona, and thirteen great grandchildren, William Blake Jensen, Marley Jensen, Georgie Jensen, Caleb Jensen, Amber DeWater, Bradley DeWater, Britani Peterman, Nicholas Peterman, Kalyee Correa, Emma Correa, Atreyau Bragan and Kalix Bragan. Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 am Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Brother Rick Jensen officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
