Glendora Carter of Pocahontas, AR. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 01, 2012 at Randolph County Nursing Home. Glendora was born December 10, 1930 to Milas and Nora Haynes. Glendora and C.W. Carter were married on April 07, 1951. Glendora was preceded in death by her parents Milas and Nora Allred Haynes, 6 brothers; Warren, James, Raymond, Daily, Carl and Bill, two sisters; Glennis Ogden and Gladys Eddington. She is survived by her husband C.W. (Dub) of the home, daughter Linda White of Jonesboro, AR, two sons; Rick (Nanette) and Bruce (Gaye) of Pocahontas, AR. Grandchildren; Kara White of Jonesboro, Casey, Kristen and Hannah Carter of Pocahontas and 1 great granddaughter Clara Carter of Pocahontas. One sister Hazel Wallis of San Diego, CA. Glendora was a loving wife, mother and granny as well as a factory worker at Cinch for 30 years. She was a member of the O'Kean Church of Christ until 2003 when her and Dub moved to Pocahontas and became members of the Skaggs Church of Christ in Pocahontas, AR. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Walnut Ridge Children's Shelter, The Church of Christ Children's Home in Paragould or to the Randolph County Nursing Home Foundation in memory of Glendora. Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 05, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Randolph Memorial Gardens with Darrell Fears officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers include: Chad Williams, Bob French, Brad French, William Haney, Rob Lence, Clay Stroud, and Ronnie Parten.
