Mrs. Glenda Marie Exum of Weiner, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life Sunday, March 26, 2017, at her home, at the age of 74.
She was born November 21, 1942 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late H.E. "Jack" Blair and Gladys Hodges Blair.
Glenda was a former employee of Johansen's Shoe Factory in Harrisburg and was a homemaker. She loved reading and canning and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Calvin "Sonny" Exum in 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Shari Brewington (Tommy) of Weiner, one son, Edward Dell Exum of Weiner, two sisters, Gloria Jean Cooper (Charles) of Weiner, and Judy Walls (Barry) of Harrisburg, five grandchildren, Drew Jett, Laura Stroud, Chase Exum, Blair Exum and Ty Exum, and three great grandchildren, Gage Jett, Sloane Jett and Casen Exum.
Graveside funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg with Rev. Jason Goad and Shane Fore officiating. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Eddie Exum, Chase Exum, Drew Jett, Whit Walls, Dustin Caplinger, and Kenton Cooper.
