Mrs. Ginger J. Pierce of Harrisburg, departed this life Thursday night, May 15, 2025, at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 83.

She was born February 28, 1942, in Greenfield, AR, the daughter of the late Louie Rodgers and Beatrice Thomas Rodgers.

Ginger married James Pierce October 31, 1960 and they enjoyed 64 years before his death in 2024. She was a homemaker, and she cared for her family the best she could. This marriage was blessed with five children, and she loved all of them. Her children and grandchildren remember her as lovable and happy. She enjoyed the outdoors and caring for her animals as well. She also enjoyed coloring pictures and sometimes quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Pierce, and several siblings.

She is survived by five children, Natosha Page of Brookland, AR, Karen Smith of Bald Knob, AR, Barbara Light (Danny) of Warren, AR, Frankie Pierce of Harrisburg, AR and Walter Pierce of Harrisburg, AR, one brother, Robert Rodgers (Brenda) of Mt. Home, AR, 10 Grandchildren, Bridgette, Chance, Tosha, Danny, Alana, Kimberly, Morrissa, Michael, Crystal, and Kelli, and 27 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Mark Weston officiating.  Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery near Harrisburg.  Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday, 10:00 -11:00 a.m.
