Obituary
Pocahontas- Geraldine Viola Bearce, 76, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at St. Bernard Medical Center.
She was born August 22, 1944 in Jonesboro to the late William and Lydia Browning Yearta. Geraldine was a taxi driver for many years. She enjoyed talking on her CB radio, watching westerns, sweet tea and loved spending time with her family and her dog, Sammy.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Rocky Rodgers.
She is survived by her children, Roy Rodgers of Pocahontas, Robin Maxwell (Gary) of Sedgwick and Becky Mathes (John) of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Brittany, Gabriele, Sharon, Robert, Boston, Jackie; a great-granddaughter, Roxanne; sisters, Rachel, Brenda and Lydia; brothers, Tony, Clayton and Doyle.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
