Obituary

Pocahontas- Gerald Clements, 83, son of the late Marvin and Julia Clements of Ravenden, AR.,, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Five Rivers Medical Center. He was preceded by his parents one sister, Sylvia Ileen Clements, one brother, Johnny Clements, one nephew, Jack Clements and one niece, Donna Clements. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Ungerank) Clements of the home, one son, Paul Clements and wife Ronda, their children, Anna and Adam of Memphis, TN, 3 daughters; Robin Clements Eaton and husband Billy of Atoka, TN. Marcella Clements Morrison and husband Jim of Lamar, Ms., Angela Clements Foster and husband Scott of Memphis, TN. and their children, Allison Foster Vance and husband Charles of Chicago, IL., Hannah Foster Hudson and husband Josh of Chicago, IL., Katie Joy Foster of Washington, D.C. Gerald is also survived by one brother, Bobby Clements of Ravenden, AR., 2 sisters; Barbara Hessenauer of Ravenden, AR. and Zepha Schultz of Cherokee Village, AR. Gerald was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Promberger - Traw Post 4556 Honor Guard and was a past commander. Gerald retired from Burlington - Northern Railroad then moved back to this area where he enjoyed many years on the bowling league in Pocahontas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local V.F.W. Services were held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with John Stoll officiating. Burial followed in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Engelberg, AR. Visitation was Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Military honors were performed by the Promberger - Traw Post 4556.
