Weiner- Gerald F. Bryant, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

He was born July 7, 1928 in Weiner to the late Leroy and Estelle Bryant. Mr. Bryant graduated from Weiner High School where he played on the Basketball team. He attended Arkansas State College.

Mr. Bryant served in the United States Navy from 1946 till 1948. He also served eight years in the Navy Reserves. He owned and operated Bryant Printing Company and Bryant Marine Company both located in Jonesboro and was involved in the printing business in Memphis and Florida during his lifetime.
He was a very caring and quick-witted man who loved life and all nature. He found beauty even in the smallest forms of nature.

He is survived by a brother, Leroy "Sonny" Bryant of Coldwater, Mississippi; his children- Terry Zebouni of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa Williams of Nokomois, FL, Nancy Kay Bryant of Bradenton, FL, Amy Joyce of Ventura, CA, Judy Vickers of Brooksville, FL and Frank Bryant of Sarasota; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline "Sis" Bryant Hall and Naomi "Babe" Bryant Lancaster.

A private graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 2, 2016 with Mitch Ford officiating under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at First Christian Church in Weiner, Monday after the graveside service.
