Jonesboro- George Walker Allen, 94, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born in Nettleton and lived there all his life except when he as in the United States Army Air Corp. During his time in the corp, from 1942 until 1945, he was in North Africa, England, France and Italy. George was retired after 27 years in the auto parts business in Trumann.
