POCAHONTAS-George Erwin Glenn, Jr.was born February 14, 1944 in Powhatan. His father, George Erwin Glenn, Sr., preceded him in death. Mr. Glen was a man of God having served as a minister for several years. He was also a retired teacher/coach and a three time All American in baseball at Arkansas State University in three different positions and also in the Hall of Honor at ASU. He is survived by his wife, Linda Glenn, two sons, Steven Glenn of Pocahontas and Sean Glenn of Big Sandy, TX, a daughter, Shay Glenn Crook of Jonesboro, two grandchildren, Brea and Tessa Glenn of Big Sandy, mother, Glenda Mae Glenn of Lynn, a brother, Michael Glenn of Smithville and a sister, Phyllis Woodard of Lynn. Services will be at 3pm Sunday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with burial following in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lynn. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 at the funeral home.
