Gentle Lea Hinklin, 85, of Doniphan, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Conway Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 5, 1935 in Pitman to the late Charlie Ewing and Ura V. Reeves Carter. She worked for Vitronic and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Gentle was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.W. and wife Reva Carter, Lester and wife Georgia Carter, and Kermit Carter; sisters, Geraldine and husband Elbert Ray and Vida and husband Buck McConnaughay; and brother-in-law, Russell French.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Hinklin; her son, Robert and wife Maude Carter of Conway; grandchildren, Julie and husband John Frank of Fayetteville and Carissa and husband David Castleberry of Conway; great grandchildren, Ted Frank, Ethan Frank, Piper Castleberry, and Riley Castleberry; brother, Homer and wife Kay Carter of Supply; sisters, Peggy and husband Larry West of Sand Springs, OK, and Sharon French of Doniphan, MO; sister-in-law, Norma Dean Carter of Rockford, IL; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2021 from 10-11 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Charles Carrens officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Pitman.
