Genny Joyce Holland, 91 passed away peacefully January 31, 2021 at Granite City Nursing and Rehab.

Genny was born November 19, 1929 to the late Benjamin and Susan Blankenship in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Genny was a buyer for 35 years for Grandpa Pigeons and an active member of Eastview Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to cook and spend time with her family. Genny also loved to travel to many places around the world.

Genny was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Holland; 8 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Harold Holland of Belleville, Il and Linda (Ernie) Montgomery of Summerville, SC; sister Dorthey O'Neal of Rockford, IL; grandchildren Kelly (Larry) Parris of Summerville, SC., Ernest F. (Karen) Montgomery Jr of Green Cove Springs, FL, Tiffany Folk, Stephanie (John) Lauth of Belleville, IL.; five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday February 12, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Stanley Dauck officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.
