Paragould - Genevieve Mae Bates, 85, formerly of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. She was born November 11, 1924 in Jonesboro to the late Drew and Alice Perkins. Mrs. Bates was a founding member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Jonesboro. She received her teaching certificate from Jonesboro College, after retiring she worked at Lucky's Groceries as a checker. Survivors...
