Powhatan- Gene Wheeless, 58, passed away on November 12, 2015. Gene was born May 27, 1957 in Pocahontas to the late Dalton and Ollie Landis Wheeless. He was a member of the Elnora Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Charlotte Wheeless, children: Patrick (Net) Wheeless of Bentonville, Nick (Amanda) West of Savannah, Georgia, Jessica Wheeless of Bentonville; grandchildren Christian West, Emily Keating, Nicholas West, Lillian West, Madelin West, Kyla Wheeless, Preston Wheeless, Luke Wheeless; siblings Carolyn (Tom) Towell, Wendell Wheeless, and Rick Wheeless. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy, Ronnie and Louise Wheeless. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with funeral immediately following at 2:00 pm with Jeral Dean officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Patrick Wheeless, Nick West, Byron Simmons, Ronald Wheeless, Jay Towell, Shawn Wheeless. Honorary pallbearers: Carlos Aguilar, JC Mann, Christian West, DeWayne Johnson.
