Geary Wayne Barr, 64 of Pocahontas departed this life on June 22, 2023. He was born September 29, 1958 to Woodrow Barr and Ella Marie Burgin Barr in Walnut Ridge. Geary served in the National Guard, was a photographer and a forklift driver. Geary was a member of the Paragould Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Barr and Ella Marie Burgin Barr; mother-in-law, Faye Chadwick; brothers, Donnie Barr, Billy Barr and Danny Barr; sister-in-law, Angie Crews.

Geary is survived by his wife, Cynthia A. Chadwick Barr of the home; brothers, Bobby (Pat) Barr of Cave City and Rick (Shannon) Barr of Pocahontas; father-in-law, Mike Chadwick of Pocahontas and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as final disposition.
