Lake City- Gaylon Theadore Manis, 67, passed away on April 4, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Gaylon was born July 13, 1950 in Pocahontas, AR to Author Lee and Evelyn Kathryn White Manis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Barnes; siblings, Jimmy Manis, Jerry Manis, Andy J. Manis, Louise Thomas, Maxine Manis; and nephew Doyle Manis.

He is survived by his children, Curtis (Kelly Byrne) Manis, Justin (Brandy) Manis; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Lloyd Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Justin Manis, Morgan Manis, Jimmy Schrader, Brandon Bailey, Scotty Baker and William Sawyer.
