Obituary
Monette- Gary Allen Wheeler, 59, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Memphis.
He was born May 20, 1961 in Jonesboro to the late Ernest and Lela Ross Wheeler.
Gary served his country proudly in the United States Marines. He was a truck driver for over twenty-five years and loved to relax at home with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Wheeler; two sons, Shane Barnes and Justin Barnes (Rachel); siblings, Betty Blackwell of Drew, MS, Virginia George of Mount Vernon, MO, and Steven "Bubby J." Wheeler (Loretta) of Walnut Ridge; a grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four siblings, Norman Wheeler, Edward Wheeler, Kathryn Lewis and Glenda Webb.
A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Visitation will be private.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Alex Jones, Jay Jones, Timmy Jones, Tony Wheeler, Travis Wheeler and Eric Blackwell.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
