Jonesboro-Gary Clifton Maynard, 72, passed away on September 30, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Gary was born to the late James Clarence and Avaline Cates Maynard.
Gary was a U.S Army Veteran and worked at Frito Lay in maintenance for several years, retiring in2015.
Gary is survived by his spouse Aurora Maynard, of the home, two daughters, Becky Winn of Jonesboro, AR., and Laura Johnson of Pocahontas AR., one son David Maynard of Jonesboro AR., two sisters, Betty Hopkins of Jonesboro AR, and Mona McKnight of Corning AR., three brothers, James Maynard of Corning AR., Larry Maynard of Jonesboro AR., and Robert Maynard of Naylor MO., and five grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by a sister Peggy Maynard and brother Frank Maynard.
Visitation will be held at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Thursday October 3, 2024, 10-11 a.m.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Herb Ellis officiating with burial following at Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.

Pallbearers will be Brian Maynard, Jim Maynard, Jason Maynard, Dalton Maynard and Scott Brown.
