Following Services
Gale Wayne Lincoln, 76, of Maynard, passed away on October 5, 2026, in Maynard.
He was born on March 23, 1950, to the late W.L. "Toby" Lincoln and Ruth Conner Lincoln. As a man of many talents, Wayne worked in maintenance at Waterloo, as well as farming, mechanic work, pipelining, and construction work where he was known for his steady work ethic and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was of the Methodist belief.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Toby and Ruth Lincoln; son, Terry Wayne Lincoln; brother, Joe Lincoln, and sister, Paula Gragg.
He is survived by his children: Kym Crawley of Maynard; Alisha Glisson of Nashville, Tennessee; and Christopher (Jamie) Tyler of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Madison Crawley, Emily Crawley, Kailey Butler, Allyson (Gage) Matthews, and Christopher (Jorja) Tyler; great‑grandchildren Avion, Avani, Samuel, Hudson, and Presley; brother, Bill (Penny) Lincoln of Jonesboro; sister, Pat (Jim) Pritchett of Maynard; brother-in-law, Mark Gragg of Jonesboro; and sister-in-law, Dora Lincoln of Maynard. He also leaves behind special friends who were like family to him; Mike “Tubby” Layton, Lynn Peoples, and Tia Nicole Roberts, and many other relatives and friends.
Wayne will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his loyalty to the people he cared about, and the quiet steadiness with which he lived his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 12, 2026, from 10-11 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Scott Wedding officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Maynard Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mike "Tubby" Layton, Lynn Peoples, Christopher Tyler, Marcus Gragg, Caleb Gragg, and Shannon Lincoln.
