Jonesboro- Freeda Potter, started a new life with the Lord, Saturday, April 8, 2017.

She was born and raised in Light before moving to Jonesboro in 1979. She was retired from NE Diesel and Electrolux. She enjoyed reading her Bible, watching her favorite TV shows, spending time with her family and swinging with her beloved pet, Buster. She was an active member of the Applehill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Dink" Potter; granddaughters, Brandy and Mandy Oswald; a brother, Cleadus Dulaney and her parents, Clarence and Liddie Breshears Dulaney.

She is survived by her daughter, Malinda (David) Oswald of Jonesboro; a granddaughter, Krystal (Chris) Scott of Cash; a grandson, Christopher Oswald of Jonesboro; sister, Phyllis Bateman of Grand Blanc, Michigan; many other family and friends and her beloved pet, Buster.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Herndon Cemetery with James O. King officiating. Interment will follow.
