Freddy was one of twelve children and he was born on June 2, 1941, in Sanford, Maine, to the late Lawrence and Allegra (Robinson) Watts. A lifelong farmer, Freddy had a deep love for his cows and found joy in the simple pleasures of farm life. He was known for milking his cows daily and sharing the fruits of his labor with the community—raw milk, homemade cheeses, and especially his much-loved butter. Whether on his tractor or tending to his herd, Freddy was truly in his element.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Allegra, as well as several brothers and sisters.
Freddy is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Bryant Watts; his children, Joseph Watts, Danny Yerxa, and Vicky-Jo Black; and his cherished grandchildren, Brittany Turner, Sherise Yerxa, Lacy Wiggins, Randy Watts, Nicole Watts, Jackson Watts, and Abigail Watts. He is also survived by several siblings, extended family members, and many dear friends.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has been chosen as his final disposition. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Freddy's memory.
