Obituary

Mr. Freddie Otto Qualls of Harrisburg, departed this life Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 54.

He was born April 10, 1968 in Wynne, the son of Freddie Lee Qualls and Brenda Bennett Qualls Earl.

Freddie was a lifetime resident of Harrisburg. He graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1987 and worked at Addison Shoe Factory for 20 years.   He loved football, wrestling and race cars and was a familiar face at all Harrisburg Hornet Football games where he was part of the Chain Crew for many years. He was granted a lifetime pass to all games.  He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Lee Qualls and one sister, Laura Marple.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Brenda Earl and Glen Earl of Heth, AR and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mack Small, II officiating.  Interment will follow in Farm Hill Cemetery.  Friends may visit Thursday, 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be George Duncan, Tommy Bennett, Michael Gray, Casey Jones, Tanner Gray, and A.J. Stevens.  Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Privett.
